Mehmet Zeki Bayrak

Based in Ankara, Bayrak operates in the security, energy, and communications sectors and undertakes commercial activities and projects across the Middle East and Africa. A graduate of the Department of International Relations at Gazi University, Bayrak pursued graduate studies in History at Hacettepe University. His academic work focuses on Middle Eastern politics, regional security, and ethnic groups, combining his business and field experience in the region with academic research. He is the founder of the Erbil Policy Institute. He is married and has one child.
